Role Description This is a part-time, remote Android Developer role focused on building and enhancing mobile experiences for Magica and related products.

The Android

Developer will design, implement, and maintain Android applications, collaborating with researchers, designers, and other engineers to translate AI-driven features into polished mobile interfaces. Day-to-day tasks include developing new features, optimizing performance, integrating APIs and backend services, and ensuring consistent UI/UX aligned with Android design principles. The role also involves debugging issues, writing clean and testable code, participating in code reviews, and contributing to technical documentation and best practices for mobile development in an AI-powered environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Mobile Application Development and experience working with Mobile Applications on Android platforms.




- Candidates should possess skills in Android Development and Android Design, including familiarity with modern Android UI frameworks and design guidelines.
- Candidates should possess Software Development skills, including proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java, object-oriented programming, and use of version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with integrating RESTful APIs, working with JSON, and handling real-time or event-driven data flows is beneficial.
- Familiarity with game engines, interactive applications, or AI-driven products is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, communicate clearly with a distributed team, and manage part time hours effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
