CONSTRUCTION SALES - Area Manager

We are a roofing company based in Newcastle and Coffs Harbour with work all over the state. We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to work in the Newcastle region.

The role will involve booking Free Roof Inspections which lead into an insurance claim for homeowners and the possibility of a new roof. Handing out fliers and door to door sales is what you will be doing. The job is very flexible where you can work basically where you want and whenever you want. Starting position is casual with the possibility of part time and full time if the position works for you and us! Base rate and commissions with fuel allowance and possibility of company ute.

Key Requirements:

- Door to door sales, generating your own leads.
- Excellent Communication (ideally you are a natural conversationalist and able to talk with all walks of life) whilst demonstrating high level customer service skills.
- Whilst sales experience (especially door to door and/or cold calling) is a bonus, we are looking more for the right attitude, cultural fit,



and determination to drive yourself forward.
- A true Team Member who works just as well in a team, as they do in a solo position.
- Must own a car and speak good English.
- Ability to handle rejection.
- Ability to use phone and book appointments.
- Ability to retain key details.
- Effective communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Sales experience preferred but not required as training will be provided.

Pay: Hourly $$ + Commission (upon reaching target)
- Possibility for full time work after 3-6 months which would include a ute, fuel card and other company benefits.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $27.00 – $37.00 per hour
