Our Ausmix brand is Australia’s market leader in feed mixer wagons—purpose-built for serious beef and dairy producers.

We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Assembler to join our team — someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys a hands-on, practical role.

About the role In this role, you will be responsible for assembling our premium agricultural machinery to a consistently high standard, ensuring every unit leaving our workshop reflects the quality Ausmix stands for.

You’ll join a well-established and experienced assembly team with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and teamwork.

What you'll be doing

- Assembling and fitting premium agricultural machinery and equipment with precision and attention to detail.
- Following technical drawings, specifications, and work orders.
- Trouble shooting assembly challenges and contributing practical solutions.
- Performing quality checks to ensure all equipment meets production standards.
- Providing guidance and training to junior team members.
- Ensuring a safe,



organised and efficient workshop environment.

What we're looking for

- Minimum 5 years' experience as a qualified mechanic or assembler or relevant experience, ideally in the agricultural or heavy equipment sectors.
- Strong technical expertise in the assembly, servicing or repair of farm or industrial machinery.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
- Proven experience mentoring junior technicians.
- Current driver's licence and forklift certification.
