We’re on the hunt for an Assistant Head Cook to join our team at our Pallara store!

You’ll be working closely with our Head Cook to keep the kitchen running smoothly, lead the team through busy services and make sure the food coming out is consistently bloody good.

What you’ll be doing:

- Supporting the Head Cook with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Leading the kitchen team through busy services and keeping things moving
- Cooking and plating our menu to a high standard
- Keeping prep organised and making sure the kitchen is service-ready
- Maintaining food quality, consistency and presentation
- Helping train, support and motivate the kitchen team
- Keeping on top of food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards
- Managing your section and making sure everything is clean, stocked and organised




- Stepping up and taking charge when the Head Cook isn’t around

What we’re looking for:

- Previous experience as a Cook, Chef or in a senior kitchen role
- Someone who’s confident leading a team in a busy kitchen
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- Someone who takes pride in the food and standards they deliver
- Reliable, calm under pressure and happy to get stuck in
- A positive attitude and someone who brings good energy to the kitchen

This starts as a casual role, with the opportunity to grow into full-time hours as you grow with us.
