About the role

This role involves assembly, installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of vehicle accessories, switches and electric motors. You will work with electrical fit-outs and diagnosing faults, and ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

- Fit, assemble, wire, and install vehicle accessories, switches, electric motors, etc.

- Conduct continuity and operational testing to verify system operation

- Diagnose faults, troubleshoot electrical failures

- Accurately read and work from technical drawings when needed

- Adhere to workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, complete risk assessments, and maintain accurate maintenance logs

- Build a collaborative team workplace and adjust your role to prioritise tasks as needed

About you

- Trade Certification:



Certified Electrical Fitter / Electrician trade license or equivalent recognized apprenticeship qualification.

- Experience: 3+ years of experience working in an electrical accessory fitting, electrical fault finding on vehicles.

- Technical Skills: Strong hands-on proficiency with wiring, conduit bending, panel wiring, mechanical fitting, and fault-finding tools.

- Certifications (Preferred): First Aid / CPR, Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry, and LV/HV Switching licenses.

- Physical Capability: Ability to handle physical labour, work in dynamic industrial environments, and willingness to work OT if required.
