About the role:

The Casual Merchandiser plays a vital role in ensuring the optimal presentation, availability, and visibility of RWC products across designated retail locations. This role is responsible for maintaining stock levels and supporting promotional and operational initiatives to enhance brand presence and drive sales. The merchandiser will work closely with their supervisor to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with company standards.

Whilst this role reports to the State Manager-Hardware, we operate as one national team, so you will be part of a broader team of sales professionals. You will enjoy being innovative and thinking outside the box and be comfortable to respectfully challenge the norm.

Your key responsibilities will be:





Ensure that stores as designated by your supervisor are merchandised as directed and during the RWC peak season where applicable.

Increase stock levels from mid deck, GI to on shelf display

Reduce top stock in stores (bring stock down to lower shelves)

Maintain off locations (Clip strips, side stacks, pallet stacks and ends.)

Maintain accurate record of mileage travelled between stores

Maintain accurate record of time worked each day for reporting to head office.

Contact your supervisor regarding stock levels especially out of stocks.

Support all key lines in all stores allocated to you.

Report and maintain contact with supervisor as and when required

Support any state projects including new store set ups, relays, expos and all other activities as directed by your supervisor.

Ensure that the RWC brand is always presented at the highest standard to staff and customers.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

100% completion of scheduled store visits during peak times

Minimum 90% of allocated stock moved to shelf within each visit

Reduction of top stock across stores per month

Accuracy in weekly mileage logs submitted

Key lines present and correctly merchandised in stores

Own car & current drivers licence (MV allowance will be provided)

Capable of manual tasks including lifting and moving heavy items
