The Powerhouse Tamworth is the region’s landmark property, recently undergoing a multi-million dollar redevelopment that delivers a 5 star guest experience. The hotel comprises 61, 5 star rooms & 20 serviced apartments, The Workshop Kitchen restaurant, Coal Bunker Bar & several boutique rooms for meetings & events.

About the role

We are looking for great staff to join our amazing housekeeping team at Tamworth’s only 5 star hotel property. Located a short distance from the CBD, The Powerhouse Tamworth features 81 luxe rooms, suites & apartments.

We require casual Housekeeping Room Attendants to work weekdays & weekends between 8.30am & 2.30pm.

All morning shifts on a 7 day roster & immediate start is available for successful candidates.

We're all about hiring people who take pride in what they do - so if you're an energetic, fit, 'clean fiend’ with an eye for detail, you'd be perfect! Cleaning experience is desirable, however our in depth training will give you the tools to succeed.

Skills & experience

- Cleaning experience at a high standard in a similar environment (preferred)

- You must be physically fit & able to work within tight time frames

- Ability to multi-task in a busy environment

- You’re motivated, reliable, able to take direction & committed to continuous improvement

- A friendly personality with a positive outlook

- Excellent presentation

- Outstanding attention to detail & take pride in your work

- Ability to work both independently & as part of a cohesive team

- You have a positive ‘can do’ attitude & flexible work ethic

- You’re ‘hands on’ & instill a sense of productivity in the workplace
