The Associate Director of AI and Infrastructure will identify, design and deliver transformational AI solutions that improve the experience of clients and staff; while helping to drive operational excellence, productivity and innovation across the business - as well as manage a small team across Service Desk, Infrastructure and Cyber Security
Responsibilities:
- Work with senior managers, stakeholders and with the Content Team to design, develop, deploy and optimise state of the art AI/ML/LLM/GenAI solutions to meet business objectives and user requirements
- Provide the business solid stakeholder communication and ensure that all projects are delivered effectively, on time and with a demonstrable and measurable ROI
- Effectively manage priorities and reassess as necessary
- Provide team leadership to encourage engagement, improve retention and focus on solutions oriented thinking
- Ensure that delivery methodology, tooling and education is "best practice"
- Obtain and maintain a deep understanding of key business processes (Advisory, Sales, Retention, Finance) that accelerate the execution of company workflows,
- strategies, and objectives
- Use business understanding to partner with department heads to improve business processes by utilising current and emerging AI and other technologies
- Continually improve and assess the infrastructure and cyber security measures in place
- Continually assess and challenge technology operating costs and ways of working
- Foster a high performance culture
- Provide project updates and positive messaging to ensure that the broader business understands the value that technology offers
- Partner with the Salesforce, Telephony, Data and Web Development Teams to support their operations
- Ensure effective vendor and partner accountability
Skills and Experience:
- You must be a commercially minded AI leader who is passionate about innovation and continuous improvement - with a demonstrable track record of turning ideas into real world solutions
- Proven experience defining the next generation of AI enabled products, services and business processes for enterprises - across AI/ML/LLM/GenAI solutions
- Strong understanding of business processes and process optimisation - especially across areas such as Advisory, Sales, Retention, internal Finance etc
- Strategic leadership with hands on execution
- Broad ICT knowledge and experience across areas such as Artificial Intelligence, applications, infrastructure, SaaS, cyber security, telephony, digital, web development, CRM
- End to end lifecycle experience across product management and project management from business case development, planning etc through to execution and go-live, benefits realisation
- Operations and staff leadership experience
- Exposure to omni channel business models - incorporating web, SaaS, telephony / contract centre and face-face an advantage
- Strong verbal and written communication skills - including documentation skills
- Vendor management / engagement experience
- Strong stakeholder engagement experience
