Associate l Senior Associate Urban Planner
Location: Perth, WA
Type: Full-time, Permanent / Part Time
Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 + Bonus + Super

Maternity / Parental leave The Opportunity A well-established and highly regarded planning consultancy is seeking an experienced planner to step into an Associateor aSenior Associate Planner role. This is an opportunity offering the chance to play a key role in both project delivery and the ongoing growth of the business.
You will work across a diverse portfolio of projects, providing planning advice, leading teams, and contributing to business development initiatives within a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities Project & Client Delivery
- Lead and manage statutory and strategic planning projects from inception to determination
- Provide high-quality planning advice to clients across a diverse project portfolio
- Oversee the preparation and review of reports, applications, and submissions
- Manage client relationships and expectations to ensure successful project outcomes
- Represent clients in meetings with local and state government authorities, panels, and stakeholders
Team Leadership & Development
- Manage, mentor, and support Planning Consultants and Senior Planners
- Provide technical guidance and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality work
- Support professional development and capability building within the team
Operational & Commercial Contribution
- Support financial performance, including budgets and project efficiency
- Contribute to internal processes, reporting, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with senior leadership on business strategy
About You You are an experienced and commercially minded planner with strong leadership skills and a proven ability to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Urban & Regional Planning, Geography, or related discipline
- Approximately 7 - 10 years’ experience in town planning (Private experience comes highly regarded)
- Strong understanding of planning frameworks, development processes, and policy
- Demonstrated experience in project management and client liaison
- Experience within a consultancy environment highly regarded
