About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Project Architect / Associate with strong Health + Science sector experience to join our Melbourne or Sydney studio and contribute to a growing portfolio of impactful projects.
This role is suited to an experienced architect who is confident leading projects through all stages, from concept and design development through to documentation and construction delivery. You will work closely with clients, consultants and internal teams while providing leadership and direction across projects.
We are seeking someone who brings a collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality design outcomes. Strong technical capability is essential, including advanced Revit proficiency and the ability to oversee the production of coordinated and comprehensive documentation packages.
General Duties
- Contribute to client briefings, workshops, concept design and design development
- Lead and deliver projects across all stages, including concept design, documentation and construction administration
- Manage a portfolio of projects and provide leadership to project teams in collaboration with Partners
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, consultants and external stakeholders
- Support the development and mentoring of team members
- Prepare and communicate design outcomes using a range of tools including Revit, Enscape, InDesign, Photoshop and VR platforms
About You
You are a registered architect with strong experience across design, documentation and construction delivery, particularly within the Health + Science sector. You understand the complexity and detail required for healthcare environments and are confident working with the AusHFG, dRofus and consultant-led project teams.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Advanced Revit capability
- Minimum 8 years’ architectural experience, including significant Health sector project experience
- Proven ability to deliver projects from briefing through to completion
- Experience collaborating with Project Managers, consultants and multidisciplinary teams
- Sound knowledge of the NCC/BCA and relevant building regulations and standards
- Strong design development and construction detailing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively while also managing responsibilities independently
- Rendering and visualisation capabilities will be highly regarded
