About the Role

As a valued member of the Westralia Car Care team, you will be responsible for carrying out vehicle servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance to manufacturer specifications. Your duties will include:

- Performing routine servicing and maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Conducting mechanical diagnostics and repairs.
- Performing electrical diagnostics and repairs.
- Identifying maintenance and repair requirements through vehicle inspections and safety checks.
- Diagnosing faults using diagnostic equipment and software.
- Repairing and maintaining engine, cooling, braking, steering, suspension, and drivetrain systems.
- Maintaining accurate job records and documentation.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you should possess:
- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years experience as a qualified Automotive Technician.
- Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
- Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
- Working rights in Australia.

Desirable Qualifications

- Full working rights in Australia.
- Air-conditioning certification.
- Advanced diagnostic experience.
