LGC Traffic Management is seeking an experienced and motivated AWTM Operations Coordinator to join our growing team on a part-time basis, primarily supporting our weekend operations.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of operational coordination and traffic management planning. The position is focused on providing operational support across weekends, with the opportunity to work additional weekday hours as required to support business needs and project demands. You will provide critical support to our operational teams while assisting with the preparation and management of TGS, TMP and permit applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational support to Supervisors, crews and management teams
- Assist with the coordination of traffic management personnel, vehicles and equipment
- Support scheduling and resource allocation to meet operational requirements
- Design, amend and maintain TGS and TMP documentation in accordance with legislation, standards and company requirements
- Prepare and submit permits and approvals to Local Governments, Main Roads WA and other relevant authorities
- Monitor and maintain accurate records for submissions, approvals and renewals
- Liaise with clients, councils, road authorities and internal stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
- Communicate traffic management requirements to operational teams
- Undertake site visits and provide support to operational teams as required
- Ensure all traffic management documentation meets compliance and quality standards
Minimum Requirements
- Current AWTM Accreditation
- Current BWTM and TC Accreditation
- Demonstrated experience preparing site-specific TGS and TMP documentation
- Experience using AutoCAD to produce high-quality electronic traffic management drawings
- Sound understanding of applicable traffic management standards and regulations
- Experience with permit applications and approval processes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Traffic Management Designer qualification highly regarded
