As a Baker, you'll be responsible for preparing and baking a range of donuts and baked goods from scratch, ensuring every batch meets our standard of quality, freshness, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Check the cleanliness of equipment and the operation of the premises before each production run to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations

- Check the quality of raw materials and accurately weigh ingredients

- Knead, mature, cut, mould, mix, and shape dough and pastry goods

- Prepare pastry fillings

- Monitor oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times

- Coordinate the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning, and cooling of batches of donuts, pastries, and baked goods

- Glaze donuts and pastries, and decorate with icing, cream, and toppings

- Operate machines that roll and mould dough

- Empty, clean, and grease baking trays, tins, and other cooking equipment

Skills &

Experience Required





- AQF Certificate III (including at least two years of on-the-job training) or AQF Certificate IV in Baking/Pastrycooking, or

- At least three years of relevant hands-on experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen may substitute for formal qualifications

- Strong attention to detail and product presentation

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen workplace

- Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and reliability
