Mood Cakes Pty Ltd We are seeking a qualified and experienced Baker to join our team at our Kenmore bakery in Brisbane. This is a full time position. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and baking bread and other bakery products while maintaining high standards of product quality, food safety and efficient bakery operations. Benefits $75,000 to $80,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on qualifications, skills and experience. Task & responsibilities

- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, rolls, buns and other bakery products
- Measure, weigh and mix ingredients according to recipes and production requirements
- Prepare, knead, shape and portion dough to achieve consistent product quality
- Monitor fermentation and proofing processes to ensure dough develops correctly
- Operate commercial bakery equipment, including mixers, dough-processing equipment, proofers and ovens
- Monitor baking times and oven temperatures to achieve consistent colour, texture and quality
- Follow daily production schedules to ensure sufficient fresh products are available for trade
- Check the quality of ingredients, dough and finished bakery products
- Maintain consistent product size, weight, appearance and presentation
- Assist with planning daily production quantities based on expected customer demand
- Monitor ingredient and stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation




- Minimise product and ingredient wastage while maintaining production standards
- Maintain a clean, hygienic and organised bakery production area
- Follow food safety, workplace health and safety, and safe food-handling procedures
- Work collaboratively with other bakers and bakery team members to ensure efficient daily production Qualification & experience
- Certificate III in Baking or equivalent relevant work experience, with at least 1 year of experience as a Baker
- Good knowledge of bread-making processes, including dough preparation, fermentation, proofing, shaping and baking
- Experience operating commercial bakery equipment and maintaining consistent product quality
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements
- Strong time-management and teamwork skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a busy bakery environment
