Aussie Care Health Services Pty Ltd is a registered NDIS and CHSP provider based in Blacktown. We deliver core supports, high-intensity daily personal activities, specialist behaviour support and support coordination to participants across Sydney.

About the role

We are seeking a contract Behaviour Support Practitioner to work with a small number of participants. This is an ABN-based contract arrangement with flexible schedule that can fit around existing commitments. Caseload is currently small with capacity to grow.

Responsibilities

- Complete Functional Behaviour Assessments
- Develop interim and comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans
- Train and coach support workers in plan implementation
- Meet NDIS Commission reporting and lodgement requirements
- Liaise with participants, families, support coordinators and other stakeholders
- Review and update plans in line with NDIS timeframes

Requirements





- Deemed suitable as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core level or above)
- Tertiary qualification in psychology, occupational therapy, social work, speech pathology, nursing or a related allied health discipline
- Valid ABN with professional indemnity and public liability insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Sound understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission's restrictive practices framework
