Role Description This full-time remote Business Analyst / Junior Business Analyst role supports CRL’s research and innovation projects by translating complex ideas and requirements into clear, actionable insights. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and documenting business requirements from researchers and stakeholders, mapping and analyzing existing business and research processes, and identifying opportunities for improvement in workflows and data management.

The role involves conducting analytical reviews of project outcomes, preparing reports and presentations, and supporting project planning and coordination. The analyst will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, facilitate communication between technical and non-technical contributors, and help ensure that lab initiatives align with strategic goals and deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative data and derive practical insights.
- Foundational Business Analysis capabilities, including requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Effective Communication skills,



both written and verbal, to work with interdisciplinary teams and diverse stakeholders.
- Understanding of Business Process design and improvement, including mapping workflows and identifying optimization opportunities.
- Ability to capture, structure, and manage Business Requirements in a clear, organized, and traceable manner.
- Bachelor’s degree or ongoing studies in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Interest in robotics, human–robot interaction, or technology-driven innovation; prior exposure to research environments is an advantage.
- Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, online project management platforms).
- Detail-oriented mindset, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Openness to learning, curiosity, and a team-oriented approach aligned with the lab’s interdisciplinary and exploratory culture.
