About the Role

This is an in-house business development position supporting the BDM across broker relationships, loan opportunities and the lending process.

Ideal for someone with 1–2 years’ experience in financial services, lending, banking, customer service, administration or a related field. You will gain hands-on exposure to commercial lending while developing your skills in deal management, broker relationships and business development.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the BDM with new commercial lending opportunities
- Assist with broker and client relationships and enquiries
- Assist with loan scenarios, applications and supporting documentation




- Coordinate with credit and operations teams to progress deals
- Follow up outstanding information and manage deal status
- Maintain CRM records and pipeline information
- Support networking and business development activities
- Gradually take ownership of smaller transactions and broker relationships
- Act with integrity and professionalism in all dealings

Skills and Experience

- 1–2 years’ experience in financial services, lending, banking, customer service, administration or a related role
- Experience in lending, finance or business development is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills
- Commercially minded and eager to learn
- Self-motivated, proactive and team-oriented
- Open to coaching, feedback and career development
