About the opportunity
Our Bar and Gaming team is at the heart of the Wests experience.We’recurrently looking for a casual team member to join us at Wests New Lambton, helping us deliver outstanding service to our members and guests.
You’llbe part of a team that keeps our indoor and outdoor spaces, including designated smoking zones, welcoming, protected, and enjoyable – fromassistingwith service and enquiries, through to ensuring our venuesremainclean and inviting.
Here’swhat you will be doing:
- Providing warm and friendly customer service
- Preparing and serving beverages
- Operating Tab and Keno terminals
- Keeping your workstation and equipment clean and organised
- Handling tills and cash transactions
- Collecting glasses and returning them to the bar for cleaning
You will need to be available across a rotating roster, including Friday nights, weekends, and busy peak times like summer and holidayperiods. These are our busiest seasons, so being part of the action is key.
Mandatory certifications:Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG).
As part of our recruitment process,you’llneed to complete standard probity checks including, but not limited to, right-to-work verification, Criminal History Check, and reference checks. These will befacilitatedand funded by The Wests Group.
