The Role

As Field Manager, you will:

- Lead field teams across SEQ, ensuring quality work and safe practices
- Develop and upskill your team through hands-on mentoring and coaching
- Support team members with questions, problems, and confidence building
- Manage job scheduling, resourcing, and day-to-day execution
- Escalate issues to leadership and drive solutions
- Own the health and performance of SEQ operations

About You

You have:

- 5 to 10 years of field team management experience in a trades or service-based business
- A trades background and willingness to work on-site 80% of the time
- Proven ability to develop team members and build a solid culture
- Ownership mindset: you succeed when the business succeeds, not by extracting personal gain
- Based in or willing to relocate to SEQ (Gold Coast or Brisbane)

Compensation

$100k plus, based on experience and capability. Performance incentives tied to SEQ operational metrics.

Overview

The Field Manager owns the day-to-day execution of mould remediation operations across SEQ. You are the first point of escalation for field teams, you coach and develop people in real time, and you carry the business like it is yours. This is not an office management role. You spend 80% of your time in the field, working alongside teams, and 20% on supporting, developing, and coordinating operations.

Key Responsibilities

Field Leadership & Execution

- Lead field teams on active jobs, ensuring quality standards, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction
- Manage scheduling, resource allocation, and job priorities across SEQ
- Solve problems on-site and manage issues as they emerge

Team Development & Culture

- Coach and mentor team members, building capability and confidence
- Answer team questions, provide guidance, and give feedback daily
- Identify development opportunities and drive team growth
- Build a positive, accountable, and high-performing culture

Operational Support

- Escalate issues to leadership and help define solutions
- Report on team health, operational metrics, and key issues
- Own the operational success of SEQ and hold yourself and the team accountable

Success Measures

- Team: low turnover, high engagement, measurable skill development
