Techie International College is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to grow our local student market and strengthen relationships with schools, colleges and industry employers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with schools, colleges, career advisers and pathway coordinators to generate direct student enrolments.
- Promote trade education and career pathways to local students and school leavers.
- Build strong partnerships with construction and trade industry employers.
- Identify employment, apprenticeship and career opportunities for students and graduates.
- Develop referral networks with employers, education providers and community organisations.
- Attend career expos, networking events, school presentations and industry events.
- Generate leads and work towards student enrolment and business development targets.
Key Capabilities Required
- Solid business development and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in sales,
education, recruitment, industry engagement or stakeholder management.
- Confidence engaging with schools, employers and industry representatives.
- Strong communication, presentation and networking skills.
- Ability to generate leads, build partnerships and convert opportunities into results.
- Knowledge of the VET, construction or trade sector will be highly regarded.
- Existing networks within schools or the construction industry will be an advantage.
