This is an exciting opportunity to join an established business and take ownership of business development across Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania. We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager who can identify opportunities, build strong customer relationships and drive new business throughout the region.

The Opportunity

Working autonomously across your territory, you will be responsible for developing new business and supporting existing customers across a range of specialist equipment and technology, including:

- Trenching equipment
- Shoring systems and equipment
- Solid Bar technology
- Anchor technology
- Ground support and specialist construction solutions

This is a genuine business development role for someone who enjoys being in front of customers, identifying opportunities and winning new projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and grow new business opportunities throughout Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.
- Build strong relationships with contractors, civil companies, infrastructure businesses and key industry contacts.
- Identify upcoming projects and secure new equipment and technology opportunities.
- Provide technical advice and support to customers.
- Manage and grow an existing customer base while actively targeting recent accounts.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations and customer meetings.
- Work autonomously and manage your own sales pipeline and territory.
- Deliver exceptional customer support before, during and after the sale.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

About You To be successful, you will ideally have:

- A strong technical background within trenching, shoring, excavation,



civil construction or specialist construction equipment.
- Proven experience in Business Development, Technical Sales, Territory Management or Capital Equipment Sales.
- Established customer relationships and a strong industry network.
- The ability to understand technical products and provide practical solutions to customers.
- A highly motivated, autonomous and proactive approach.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
- A genuine hunger to win new business and secure opportunities.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.
- The ability and willingness to travel throughout VIC, SA and TAS as required.
