We are growing and looking for a commercially driven Business Development Specialist to help expand our client base and strengthen Infinity HR’s presence across Australia.

Role Overview

We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Specialist based in Sydney to generate new business, build a solid sales pipeline and drive revenue growth.

This is a hands-on, field-focused role for an experienced BD professional who thrives on opening doors, building relationships and converting opportunities into new clients. You will be out in the Sydney market meeting prospects face-to-face, networking and building Infinity HR’s presence within the business community.

You will own the sales cycle from prospecting through to proposal, negotiation and close, with the opportunity to directly influence the growth and success of Infinity HR.

What You Will Be Doing

- Build and nurture relationships with potential clients, partners, and key stakeholders.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Australia through market research, networking, and analysis.





- Conduct in-person visits to engage with potential clients and deliver compelling face-to-face presentations.

- Attend networking events and actively build Infinity HR’s presence within the Sydney business community.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and execute tailored business development strategies.

- Lead negotiations and close deals to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.

- Stay ahead of market trends, monitor competitor activity, and leverage industry insights.

- Track and report on business development activities, offering insights to senior management.

- Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience using HubSpot for CRM and sales management.

What You Will Need to Succeed

- Demonstrated success in B2B sales, business development, or new client acquisition, preferably within the HR or recruitment sectors.

- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.

- Comfortable spending significant time on the road meeting prospective clients face-to-face.

- Deep understanding of sales strategies and keeping up to date with market dynamics to create impactful business opportunities.

- Proven ability to develop and sustain strong, lasting client and partner relationships.

- Highly self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working autonomously in the market.

- Results-driven with demonstrated experience working towards monthly and quarterly sales and revenue targets.

- Experience using and accurately updating CRM or Sales systems.

- Must have access to a reliable vehicle for client visits.
