MSI Australia operates a network of 7 clinics, a national telehealth service providing comprehensive termination of pregnancy, contraception, vasectomy services and national family planning support.

MS Health is a not-for-profit pharmaceutical organisation dedicated to ensuring safe, reliable, and equitable access to reproductive health medicines in Australia. As the Australian sponsor and sole supplier of abortion medicines, including MS-2 Step, and specialised medical devices, MS Health manages regulatory approval, quality, and national supply to support access nationwide. All surplus income is reinvested into MSI Australia.

Position Title: Business Systems Lead

Reports to: Director - Finance & Business

Hours per week: 38 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Duration: 12 - 24 month fixed-term contract (with potential for permanency)

The Role:

The Business Systems Lead provides technical systems leadership across key organisational applications, supporting efficient business operations and ensuring systems meet regulatory obligations.





Working across cloud-based healthcare practice management systems, CRM platforms and other organisational applications, you will lead business process reviews, requirements gathering, system optimisation initiatives, implementations, upgrades and migrations. You will apply technical and business analysis expertise to assess system and application options and provide recommendations to support organisational decision-making.

This role acts as the technical and business analysis backbone for the Digital Steering Committee and serves as the senior technical escalation point for the Health Application Specialist. It is a hands-on technical and business analysis role that combines system administration, project delivery, governance support, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement

What You’ll Do

Business Systems Administration & Support

- Lead day-to-day support for cloud-based healthcare practice management and clinical software systems, including ticket management.
- Maintain a transparent view of the application landscape to identify duplication and consolidation opportunities.

Requirements Gathering & Process Analysis

- Lead requirement gathering and workflow reviews on core clinical software systems.
- Produce functional specifications, gap analyses, and recommendations to support procurement and decision-making.

System Implementation & Delivery

- Lead the optimisation rollout for cloud-based healthcare practice management systems and the end-to-end CRM implementation, including configuration, data migration, testing, and go-live.
