CAFE MANAGER

Baker and Daughters is currently looking for an experienced, full time Café Manager to join our team.

Who we are:

Baker and Daughters is a well-established, high profile local cafe in Mullumbimby with an emphasis on excellent customer service. We have a great team, and we are looking for someone to oversee the day-to-day operations of the business.

The successful candidate will be self-motived, enthusiastic and customer service oriented. They must also show a solid knowledge of food and beverage and proven experience in a cafe management role, preferably in a busy cafe or hospitality establishment.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Training, educating & mentoring staff.

· Overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the café to ensure a high standard of customer service.

· Creating and managing rosters.

· Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock to minimize waste and optimize profitability.

· Ensuring compliance with hygiene & safety regulations.





· Planning menus in consultation with Chefs and managing communication between front of house and kitchen.

· Overseeing, planning and organising special functions.

· Management of labour costs, rosters and efficient service standards.

Skills and Experience

· We are seeking a leader who is hands on with a minimum 5 years in the operations of a cafe.

· Ability to lead, drive and motivate the team to deliver excellent customer experience.

· You will be confident and able to lead a loyal dedicated team and take a sense of ownership in the role.

· Great communication skills

· Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
