Practice Information
This organisation is a small, supportive allied health practice providing occupational therapy services to children, adolescents, young adults and their families. Therapists are encouraged to develop areas of professional interest and shape their caseload around their strengths and passions.
The purpose-built clinic features a sensory gym, therapy rooms, nature play area, art and messy play space, garden therapy area, and a dedicated sandplay and symbol work room.
Services are delivered across the clinic, schools, homes, workplaces and other community settings throughout the Atherton Tablelands.
Position Description
Provide occupational therapy assessment and intervention services for children, adolescents and young adults with a variety of needs. Develop individualised, family-centred therapy plans and deliver services in both clinic and community settings. Build strong relationships with families,
educators and other health professionals while managing a caseload with support from an experienced multidisciplinary team. Contribute to innovative service delivery initiatives, programs and team projects.
Position Requirements
- Qualified Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration
- Current Driver's Licence
- Recent graduates encouraged to apply
- Strong problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality, family-centred care
