About the role The successful applicant will be involved in a variety of construction and maintenance projects throughout Kununurra and the wider East Kimberley region.

Key responsibilities

- General carpentry and building works
- New construction and refurbishment projects
- Repairs and maintenance
- Internal and external fit-out works
- Installation of doors, frames, cabinetry, fixtures and building components
- Working from plans, specifications and scopes of work
- Coordinating with supervisors, subcontractors and other trades
- Maintaining a clean and safe worksite

About you

- Trade qualification in Carpentry
- Previous experience in residential and/or commercial construction
- Current Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Good understanding of WHS requirements
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Good communication and time-management skills
- Ability to work in the conditions associated with the East Kimberley
