About the role

Holm Oak is searching for a proactive and engaging candidate for our Cellar Door. Based in Rowella in the Tamar Valley, we are seeking a self-starter who can take our offering to the next level and has availability to work weekends.

We are looking for and enthusiastic Cellar Door Salesperson to complement our existing team and to deliver a high-end customer experience.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Providing friendly, tailored and knowledgeable service to our guests at cellar door
- Conducting specialised wine tastings experiences
- High degree of attention to detail




- Maintaining a high level of presentation of the cellar door
- Packing wine for despatch

The primary focus of the role is to engage with new customers and existing members of Holm Oak, conduct wine tastings and generate memberships and sales of our award-winning wines. Accurate packing and despatching of orders also forms part of this position.

Skills and experience The successful applicant will possess the following:

- Availability to work weekends
- Exceptional customer service and sales skills
- High attention to detail
- Appreciation of wine with an interest to learn more
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft, POS Wine based software
- Outstanding personal presentation
- Be reliable, punctual and be able to work unsupervised
- Physically fit and able to pack and lift wine cartons
- Current drivers licence
