Do you have a passion for working with people with a disability and/or mental health concerns? Affinity Disability Services are looking for Disability Support Workers to join our team in Ipswich.

Your Role

As a Disability Support Worker you will be supporting the most significant people in our organisation - our participants.

Your tasks may include

- Providing the very best care and support to participants in line with their care plans and NDIS goals.
- Undertake personal care duties which may include cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and social and community participation.
- Provide support duties which may include shopping, transport etc

You have

- A warm and nurturing nature
- A positive attitude
- The willingness to go the extra mile
- Ability to build rapport and engage with participants
- Cert 3, or above, in Disabilities, or a related area, or currently studying such
- Blue card and yellow card or ability to obtain these
- Current Queensland driver's licence and a registered car with comprehensive car insurance
- Current first aid and CPR
- Mobile phone
