Last One Inn Barwon Heads is looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.

We’re looking for someone who is confident running a section, works well under pressure and takes pride in producing consistently positive food. Just as importantly, we’re building a kitchen team with strong standards, clear communication and a positive working culture.

The venue trades Wednesday to Sunday across lunch and dinner, with the full-time roster structured across these service periods.

The role

As Chef de Partie, you’ll be responsible for:

- Running your section confidently and maintaining strong organisation throughout service
- Completing prep to a high and consistent standard
- Delivering dishes accurately and efficiently during service
- Maintaining strong food safety, cleanliness and kitchen standards
- Supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Communicating well with the wider kitchen team
- Supporting junior team members where required

About you We’re looking for someone who:
- Has solid experience in a busy, professional kitchen




- Is comfortable managing their own section
- Works cleanly, efficiently and with attention to detail
- Remains calm and organised during busy services
- Is reliable, punctual and consistent
- Takes pride in the quality of their work
- Communicates well and contributes positively to the team
- Is available to work weekends as part of the regular roster

What we offer
- $70,000–$75,000 + superannuation, depending on experience
- Full-time, 38-hour roster

We’re looking for someone who wants to settle into a strong team, take ownership of their role and contribute to building a successful kitchen from the outset. Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
