Centre Manager/Nominated Supervisor - Wings Early Learning at Ripley, Queensland A great place to spread your wings and let your career take flight!

Wings Early Learning Ripley is a new, purpose-built 120 place early learning centre committed to providing high-quality early education and care. We have been open since January this year and are seeking an exceptional Centre Manager to lead us as we continue to grow. The opportunity exists for you to play a pivotal role in the leadership and management of this centre and its fantastic team.

Responsibilities

As the Centre Manager/Nominated Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the centre, leading our team of Educators and ensuring that our centre meets all legislative and quality standards while ensuring a supportive work environment. You will be supported by a Relationships Manager and Educational Leader to help you in the success of the centre.

We are the only centre in Ripley to have an onsite bush Kindy space which adds a point of difference from all other centres. Our Educators have been put through extensive external bush Kindy training to provide outstanding programs for our children on site daily.

In addition to this, our centre has an on-site library, where children borrow books from weekly to take home, to promote a love of reading and literacy.

We are very proud of our centre and love that we provide a unique service for our community.

Role Requirements To be considered for this role, you will need:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership or management role within an early childhood education and care setting – ideally a larger service such as this one
- A minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
- A current Blue Card and ACECQA approved First Aid qualifications
- Have completed all 4 modules of the National Child Safety training prior to employment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and value customer service
- A passion for providing high-quality care and education to children and mentoring educators
- Have a long-term career view with the opportunity to grow with the business.
