Traineeship pathway

Traineeship positions are suited to school leavers who have completed Year 12 and are available to participate on a full-time basis.
This traineeship is designed for individuals looking to start their IT career. To be eligible, applicants must be Australian residents and must not have completed a degree in Information Technology.
Commitment and training
Applicants must be willing to commit to a 12-month traineeship. The program provides paid training and practical, hands-on IT experience while working towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Information Technology. Classes will be delivered through our training partner, CDU, and attendance will be required as part of the traineeship.
What you’ll need to be successful
- A willingness to learn and develop recent skills.
- Punctual, reliable and committed.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- An organised approach, with strong attention to detail.
- A positive, friendly attitude.
- Ability to pass a National Police Check, if over 18 years of age.
- A current NT Working with Children Clearance, or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
