We are a busy, established neighbourhood café in West Footscray, and we're looking for an experienced Full-Time Café Chef to join our team.

The Role

You'll be working in a fast-paced café kitchen serving a modern breakfast and lunch menu.

We're looking for someone who can:

Confidently run a section during busy services

Maintain consistent food quality and presentation

Handle food preparation and service efficiently

Follow recipes, portioning and food-cost controls

Maintain excellent food safety and kitchen cleanliness

Work well with the kitchen and front-of-house team

Stay organised and calm during busy weekend services

What We're Looking For

Previous café or restaurant kitchen experience

Strong breakfast/brunch experience preferred

Reliable, punctual and organised





Good communication and teamwork

Ability to work weekends

Australian working rights

What We Offer

38 hours per week

$65,000–$75,000 + super, depending on experience

Daytime café hours – no night shifts

Established café with a solid local customer base

Supportive team environment
