We’re looking for experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen on a fixed-term contract through to 11 December 2026. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a skilled, fast-paced kitchen and values consistency, teamwork, and high standards. The premium rate reflects our commitment to reliable chefs who can see the contract through.

? Contract: Immediate start – until Friday 11 December 2026 (option for an additional week to be confirmed later)

? Pay: $50/hour (10am or 11am starts); $52/hour (3am or 4am starts)

⏰ Hours: 38 hours per week (Consistent shifts)

? Location: Artarmon – street parking & public transport available

What You’ll Do

- Support the Sous/Head Chef during service, maintaining high standards of quality, pace, and consistency
- Manage mise en place, prep, and presentation to consistent standards
- Maintain kitchen hygiene, organisation and stock control
- Coach and support junior team members
- Uphold food safety and OH&S; requirements
- Contribute to menu development, specials, and seasonal changes

What You Bring

- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie (or strong Demi Chef ready to step up)




- Broad skills across multiple kitchen stations
- Calm, organised, and consistent under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork
- Current food safety certification
- Commitment to the FULL CONTRACT period
