Love being a chef but want something different from the same restaurant kitchen every week?

Good 2 Eat Catering is looking for experienced chefs to join our Sunshine Coast events team.

We cater weddings, corporate events, private functions and large-scale events across the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas, so no two weeks are quite the same.

We have a few different opportunities available

Depending on the right person, we are currently considering:

- Casual event chef work

- Regular part-time hours

- Full-time fixed-term work through until Christmas (& potentially beyond)

If you already have another job and just want extra shifts, we’d still love to hear from you.

What the job looks like

You could be

- Preparing food in our commercial kitchen

- Cooking at weddings and events

- Working from our mobile event kitchens

- Plating restaurant-quality meals in some pretty amazing locations

- Working alongside our kitchen and event teams

- Catering everything from intimate weddings to events with hundreds of guests

This isn't your standard restaurant chef role.

There are no à la carte dockets flying at you all night, and you won't be stuck cooking the same service every week.

Events are planned, menus are known in advance, and you'll work as part of an experienced team.

We'd love to hear from chefs who

- Have solid commercial kitchen experience

- Are confident working independently when required

- Enjoy being part of a team





- Can stay organised when things get busy

- Take pride in the food they send out

- Are reliable and turn up when they say they will

- Have a current driver's licence and reliable transport

- Are comfortable travelling to event locations around the Sunshine Coast

Event or catering experience is outstanding, but it isn't essential.

If you're a good chef with the right attitude, we can teach you how we do events.
