Big Legacy Pty Ltd, the new operators of a much-loved dining spot in the Stargate Shopping Centre at Waikiki, is seeking passionate and experienced Chefs and Cooks to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic venue at the start of a new chapter, building on its strong local presence and reputation for delicious food. We are looking for dedicated and skilled culinary professionals to join our team.

You must be committed to exceeding our customers' expectations while contributing to a positive and collaborative kitchen environment. The successful candidates will be responsible for the following duties: For Chefs: Leading and managing kitchen operations during shifts, contributing to menu development, preparing, and cooking dishes to a high standard, and ensuring exceptional food presentation and quality control.

For Cooks:



Preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workspace, and assisting the senior kitchen team as required.

The successful candidates will have: A minimum of 1 year of experience (2 years preferred) as a Chef or Cook in a busy cafe, restaurant, or similar fast-paced environment. Robust culinary skills and a genuine passion for creating great food. The ability to work efficiently and professionally under pressure.

A team-focused attitude with excellent communication skills. Relevant culinary qualifications (e.g., Commercial Cookery Certificate III or IV, or Diploma for senior roles). A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
