Key responsibilities
- Manage and monitor kitchen operations, food preparations, stock levels, ordering stock, and food costing
- Plan, prepare and cook meals while ensuring the quality and consistency
- Prepare, season and cook food according to recipes
- Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety operations
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and report to the head chef
- Operate and maintain commercial kitchen equipment
About you
- Diploma or higher qualification
- 12 months of full time or part-time equivalent work experience or 3 years of relevant full-time work experience or equivalent
- Ability to excel in a high-volume and work under pressure environment
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
