Gilroy Catholic College is seeking a skilled and passionate Secondary Religious Education Teacher to be part of our school community and enrich the lives of our students. This position is Temporary Full‑Time commencing in Term 3, 2026.

About the Role
Teaching Religion across Stages 4 and 5 and Studies of Religion I and II Stage 6 with engaging, explicit and evidence‑based practice
Creating supportive learning environments that cater to diverse student needs
Using technology effectively to enhance learning, assessment and feedback
Collaborating with colleagues to set high expectations and deliver consistent,
high‑quality learning experiences
Motivating students to achieve and develop a lifelong love of learning
Continuously improving practice through professional learning and reflective teaching
Accreditation to teach Religious Education, or willingness to obtain it
Qualifications, Accreditations and Experience
- Tertiary Qualification in Education (or fourth year student)
- NESA Accreditation (Conditional Accreditation also accepted)
- Statements of Service
- Commitment to meeting CSPD’s Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead requirements as part of employment
