We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Nurse (RN Level 2) to provide advanced nursing care and clinical leadership within the Denmark Health Service Residential Aged Care team.

This role is responsible for coordinating, managing, and delivering evidence-based, person-centred care while supporting multidisciplinary teams, mentoring staff, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise, leadership capability, and a commitment to achieving outstanding health outcomes for residents and the wider community.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Provide advanced clinical nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care.
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing services within a residential aged care setting.
- Act as a clinical leader and expert resource, providing guidance and support on complex care management.
- Facilitate and coordinate nursing activities in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation, care planning, and continuity of care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary, inter-agency,



and nursing meetings to support coordinated service delivery.
- Support and mentor nursing and care staff, promoting professional development and best practice standards.
- Contribute to quality improvement, risk management, workplace safety, and compliance initiatives.
- Promote knowledge and understanding of relevant accreditation standards and aged care requirements.
- Assist the Clinical Nurse Manager in achieving organisational and service objectives.

To be successful, you will possess:

- Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and experience in evidence-based nursing practice.
- Well-developed leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong computer literacy and ability to use health information systems.
- Knowledge of quality improvement, risk management, and relevant healthcare legislation.
- A commitment to ongoing career development and continuous improvement.
