About The Community Collective
We are a global community for community builders that started in Australia. Why?
Because community building is the new currency & the next best business strategy. But building an impactful one can be tough, exhausting & lonely. They’re here to change that. How?
Through their cohorts, coaching and recruitment.
Where did this all begin?
They started as a meetup for 17 community builders in Melbourne during the pandemic in 2021. Afterwards, they went viral and today have a 21.1k+ audience, with 700+ community across 18 countries. Join their global movement today that establishes community building as the most impactful business strategy.
Our 10-year vision is to lead a global movement that establishes community building as the most impactful business strategy.
Our 1-year mission is to serve businesses through our gold standard community building cohorts and coaching from down under.
About Our Cohort Lead Role
Imagine being at the forefront of the community industry, learning from the best leaders in the world while you do it. This is the seat where it happens. Our past cohort speakers include Seth Godin, Derek Sivers, Steph Claire-Smith, and we just booked Priya Parker for Cohort #9. As our Cohort Lead, you are the face of our program experience, supporting our members through the journey.
We are growing fast. We have just passed 1000+ people on our waitlist, we are about to run our 9th program, and we have trained 420+ companies in community strategy. You are stepping into a movement with real momentum, and you get to help carry it forward.
As our Cohort Lead, you run our 8-week Community Cohort and 10-week Ambassador programs, and you look after the community that lives inside them. From welcoming new members and shaping each cohort's journey to keeping our Ambassadors supported and our systems tight, you are the person who makes sure every member feels looked after, nothing slips through the cracks, and every CC'ian gets the best experience.
This is a role with real breadth. You will get involved in operations, in the team, and in how we use AI to work smarter every day, and you can do it alongside us. You have experience running programs before. You love data management and building efficient processes, and you have an attention to detail like no other.
This is a role for someone who is self-directed, deadline-oriented and genuinely invested in the mission of The Community Collective. You do not need to be managed. You spot what needs doing and you do it. Overall, you believe community is the future of business and the world, and you emanate our values, living and breathing our mission into existence.
