You will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating trucks, excavators, and skid steers/Bobcats across civil project sites, while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and complying with all company and site safety requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Operating trucks, excavators, and skid steers/Bobcats across a range of civil construction projects
- Excavation, trenching, grading, loading, and lifting activities
- Carting materials to and from site
- Land clearing and general earthworks and site preparation
- Loading, moving and placing materials safely and efficiently
- Completing daily pre-start checks and basic preventative maintenance
- Cleaning, lubricating, and maintaining plant cleanliness and serviceability
- Working to construction programs to meet daily productivity targets
- Working safely around other plant, personnel and site activities
- Following project specifications,
plans and supervisor instructions
About you
- Demonstrated experience operating trucks, excavators, and skid steers/Bobcats
- Current MR Synchromesh Licence – S
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Current White Card (Construction Induction)
- Demonstrated RII / VOC evidence preferred
- Ability to load and unload machinery from trucks and trailers
- Ability to read and interpret site plans and construction drawings
- Proven experience in civil construction
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
