We are recruiting for Construction Manager for an established energy infrastructure and power generation EPC to join a major project in the Pilbara, WA. Operating across power generation, energy infrastructure and complex industrial projects, the business delivers end-to-end engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and long-term service solutions across the mining, resources, utility and commercial sectors.

This is a FIFO senior site-based leadership position working on a power generation project where the end client is a tier 1 mining organisation. As the Construction Manager you will lead site activities, coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, liaise closely with the client and ensure works are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards

Roster: 16 days on / 10 days off (travel in company time)

Key Responsibilities

- Take overall responsibility for day-to-day construction and site operations during each rostered swing.
- Act as the senior company representative on site and maintain regular communication with the client team.
- Lead and coordinate Site Supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers and the wider site workforce.
- Manage a predominantly subcontractor-led construction workforce.
- Conduct daily pre-start meetings, toolbox talks and site coordination activities.
- Maintain a robust and visible safety presence across site.
- Ensure construction activities are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements.
- Coordinate labour, plant, equipment, materials and subcontractor resources.




- Monitor construction progress against project schedules and proactively address delays or delivery risks.
- Review construction documentation, drawings, specifications and work packs.
- Ensure subcontractors are working from current approved drawings and documentation.
- Oversee site quality requirements including ITPs, ITRs, inspections and associated records.
- Review Safe Work Method Statements and ensure site activities comply with WHS requirements.
- Maintain strong working relationships with the client, subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Provide clear handovers to the back-to-back Site Manager at the end of each swing.

Required Experience

- Strong experience leading multiple work crews and managing subcontractors across concurrent work fronts.
- Previous experience across construction, industrial, power generation, mining or similar major project environments.
- Experience across site mobilisation, construction, installation, commissioning support and project close-out.
- Demonstrated capability managing project schedules, budgets, resources and labour productivity.
- Strong experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, materials, equipment and site logistics.
- Experience implementing and managing project quality systems including ITPs, ITRs and quality documentation.
- Demonstrated experience leading pre-starts, toolbox talks, safety observations and contractor management activities.

Qualifications

- Relevant Civil or Mechanical trade qualification or equivalent construction-related qualification.
