Seeking Forklift Drivers in Laverton North and Spotswood!

Programmed Maintenance Services – Laverton North VIC

- Located in Laverton North AND Spotswood VIC (Western Suburbs)
- Night shift Monday - Friday (12 hour shifts 5pm - 5am)
- Pay rate of $47.23ph (including casual loading and night shift loading)

Programmed are seeking experienced counterbalance forklift drivers to join their client in Laverton North and Spotswood VIC who specialize in the storage and distribution of glass bottles. Please note, our client have two warehouses (in Laverton North and Spotswood) and are looking for candidates who are happy to work across both sites.

Successful applicants must be available to work 12 hour NIGHT shifts (5pm - 5am) Monday - Thursday and some Fridays, and must have a current Valid forklift licence with at least 1 year experience driving counterbalance forklifts.

Duties / Responsibilities involved:

- Operating gas twin tyne counterbalance forklifts (twin tyne experience preferred, but not essential)
- Loading and unloading glass pallets (glass bottles), Semis & B doubles with twin tyne forklifts
- Staging and picking pallets of glass loads
- Wrapping pallets with a palletizing wrapping machine when required
- General housekeeping and sorting of pallets when needed.
- Must be flexible to rotate in between Spotswood (main site) and Laverton site when required.



Candidates will commence at Laverton first.
- Long-term position with temp to perm opportunities for the right candidate
- Night shift pay rate of $47.23ph (including casual loading and night shift loading)

Experience / skills required:

- Must have at least 1 year of Counterbalance forklift experience - twin tyne experience would be beneficial but not essential (must be VERY confident operating forklifts)
- Similar experience working with fragile glass products is preferred
- Must be Available Monday to Friday to work 12 hour shifts + OT and Weekend work when required.
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and ability to follow instructions.
- Can work in a fast paced environment.
- Can work independently or in a team.
