Who We Are

Bell & Bone makes premium dental care products for dogs and cats. Australian made, vet recommended, meat-first ingredients, grain-free, filler-free. We're stocked nationally in pet specialty stores, and we've built a community of over 9,000 five-star reviews from pet parents who actually read the ingredients list

We're a small team that moves fast, thinks creatively, and never takes ourselves too seriously. We've already changed how Australians think about dog dental care. Now we're doing the same for cats, and we need someone to help us build that world.

Why This Role Exists The cat side of Bell & Bone is growing and it needs its own creative voice. We're not looking for someone to repurpose our dog content with a cat filter on it. We want someone who genuinely understands cats, cat parents, and what makes that audience tick. Someone who can build a content world from the ground up.

You'll work closely with our Creative Strategist, our Founder, and our existing content and editing team. This is a creative, ideas first, camera ready role where you're researching, concepting, filming, editing and publishing content that makes people stop scrolling.

About the Role

You will own the content creation for Bell & Bone's cat range across Instagram, TikTok and other platforms. Your week will involve researching and ideating, creating original content, filming (often with your own cat), editing, posting, and analysing what's working.

You're not here to follow trends. You're here to create moments that feel unmistakably Bell & Bone. You'll bring ideas constantly, not wait to be briefed.



You understand what makes content shareable vs what just fills a feed.

You'll also support filming and editing for paid advertising when needed, and help out with events, sampling days and shoots as they come up.

Your Responsibilities

Content Creation

· Research, ideate, concept, film, edit and publish content for the cat range across Instagram, TikTok and other platforms

· Use your own cat in content regularly (yes, your cat gets to be famous)

· Be on camera yourself, naturally and comfortably

· Create content that captures the raw, real, joyful energy of the brand

· Keep across what's happening in culture and on social, using it as inspiration to create our own moments (not just follow)

Filming and Production

· Shoot video and photo content with strong understanding of angles, lighting, composition and pacing

· Know when raw and unpolished is the right call and when something needs more craft

· Make an iPhone shoot look intentional, not accidental

Video Editing

· Edit Reels, TikToks and video content quickly and confidently

· Strong skills in CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar

· Understand hooks, pacing, text overlays, music selection and when to cut

Ideation and Strategy

· Bring original content ideas to every planning session

· Track performance and report on what's working

· Adjust strategy based on data, not gut feeling alone

Ad and Event Support

· Assist with filming and editing ads for paid advertising when required





· Assist with events and sampling days when required

Who We're Looking For

· You own and adore your cat. Not negotiable. Your cat will be part of the content and you need to genuinely love and understand cats and the people who own them

· You have a car and a valid license. You'll need to get to Southbank, filming locations, events and sampling days

· You're comfortable and natural on screen. Not performing, just being yourself

· You have 3+ years of content creation experience in a brand, in house or creative setting

· You know how to film. Angles, lighting, framing. You can make a phone shoot look considered

· You know how to edit. CapCut, Premiere Pro or equivalent. Fast turnaround, strong instincts

· You're a strong creative thinker. Ideas led, not task led. You spot opportunities others miss

· You understand brand. You've worked within brand guidelines before and you know how to push boundaries without breaking them

· You're a self starter. We're a small team. Nobody is going to hand you a to do list every morning

Bonus If You

· Have experience with a pet, wellness or lifestyle brand

· Can shoot strong stills as well as video

· Have grown a personal or brand social account

· Know your way around Adobe Suite and Photoshop

· Understand what makes a hook work in the first half second
