THE T-SPOON CAFE PENRITH PTY LTD THE T-SPOON CAFE PENRITH PTY LTD, trading as The T-Spoon Cafe Salamander Bay, invites applications for two full-time Cook positions at its café located in Salamander Bay, NSW. The T-Spoon Cafe is committed to serving fresh, high-quality breakfast, lunch and café-style meals in a welcoming and customer-focused environment.

The successful applicants will be responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting meals in accordance with the café’s recipes, portion requirements and quality standards.

responsibilities Examining ingredients to ensure freshness, quality and suitability before preparation. Preparing and cooking a range of breakfast, lunch and café-style meals in accordance with established recipes.

Operating and regulating ovens, grills, fryers, stovetops and other commercial cooking equipment. Seasoning food and monitoring cooking processes to maintain consistent taste and quality. Portioning, plating and presenting meals with appropriate sauces, garnishes and accompaniments.

Preparing meals to meet vegetarian, gluten-free, allergen-sensitive and other special dietary requirements.



Storing food safely in temperature-controlled facilities and following appropriate stock-rotation procedures. Monitoring ingredient supplies, maintaining portion control and minimising food wastage.

Coordinating with kitchen and front-of-house employees to ensure efficient and timely café service. Maintaining cooking equipment and a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen in accordance with food-safety requirements. Qualification & experience

At least one year of relevant experience working as a Cook in a café, restaurant or similar commercial kitchen. Relevant AQF Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or a closely related discipline.
