About Us

YOKU Sushi is a modern Japanese restaurant located in Randwick, offering a range of Japanese cuisine including sushi, sashimi and contemporary Japanese dishes. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Cook to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and cook a variety of Japanese dishes, including sushi and other menu items.

· Prepare ingredients including seafood, meat, vegetables, rice and sauces.

· Ensure consistent food quality, presentation and portion control.

· Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment.





· Monitor stock levels and assist with food storage and rotation.

· Follow food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.

· Work effectively with chefs and other kitchen staff during service.

Requirements

· Relevant cookery qualification.

· At least 1 year of relevant work experience in Japanese cuisine or sushi preparation.

· Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements.

· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

· Positive teamwork and communication skills.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $82,000.00 per year
