Your new role

As the Coordinator Contracts & Procurement, you will lead and coordinate the organisation's procurement and contract management activities, ensuring compliance with legislation, governance frameworks, and best-practice procurement principles. You will provide expert advice to stakeholders, oversee tender processes, maintain contract governance frameworks, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and identify opportunities to deliver value for money across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include

- Coordinating end-to-end procurement and tender processes
- Managing procurement policies, procedures and governance frameworks
- Providing expert procurement and contract management advice
- Overseeing tender evaluations and ensuring compliance and probity
- Conducting spend analysis and identifying efficiency opportunities
- Managing contract registers and procurement reporting




- Delivering procurement training and stakeholder support.

What you'll need to succeed

- Extensive experience in procurement and contract management
- Strong knowledge of procurement legislation, governance and compliance requirements
- Experience managing complex tenders and contracts
- Proven ability to develop and improve procurement policies and procedures
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation and influencing skills
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline
- Previous local government procurement experience will be highly regarded.
