About the role

Phoenix Contact Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Core Business Marketing Director to lead our marketing and communications strategy. This is a full-time position based in Parramatta.

As Core Business Marketing

Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive business growth, enhance brand visibility, and deliver measurable results across our core business divisions. This role holds significant strategic importance within our organisation, directly influencing our market position and competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives and core business growth targets.
- Lead the marketing communications team, providing direction, mentorship, and strategic guidance to achieve departmental goals.
- Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and communication strategies across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
- Manage marketing budgets, campaigns, and initiatives to ensure optimal return on investment and cost efficiency.
- Create and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and services within the core business portfolio.
- Lead market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with business strategy.
- Monitor marketing performance metrics, analyse data, and report on key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and media organisations.




- Develop and manage corporate communications plans to enhance internal and external brand perception.

Skills & Experience

- Minimum 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a strategic marketing leadership or director-level role.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies that deliver measurable business results.
- Strong expertise in marketing communications, brand management, and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Demonstrated experience in budget management and resource allocation for marketing initiatives.
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities, with experience building and developing high-performing marketing teams
- Proficiency in marketing analytics, data interpretation, and performance measurement.
- Strong understanding of B2B and/or industrial marketing practices and customer engagement strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and digital marketing platforms.
- Experience in strategic planning and project management.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in the electrical, automation,



or industrial technology sectors.
- Knowledge of digital transformation and marketing technology trends.
- Experience leading marketing communications in a global or multi-site organisation.
