Event Hire Services is one of Sydney’s leading event hire and styling companies, delivering premium furniture, décor, custom builds and creative event solutions for weddings, personal and corporate events, conferences, gala dinners, product launches, brand activations, exhibitions.

We’re looking for an experienced Sales person to work on all event enquireis with a focus on Corporate & Venue Partnerships to help grow our clients throughout Sydney and NSW.

This is a consultative sales role for someone who enjoys developing relationships, creating inspiring event concepts and delivering outstanding client experiences.

The Opportunity The position is responsible for driving hire sales growth beyond the company’s present position.

While the role has responsibility for sales across the entire business, it carries a particular focus on:

- Building strong, productive relationships with venues.
- Increasing the volume and value of orders received through venue partners and all current customers.
- Developing new corporate event opportunities.
- Growing repeat business from corporate clients, agencies and event planning professionals.
- Positioning Event Hire Services as the preferred supplier of premium furniture and event hire solutions.

The position supports a diverse range of customers and events, including: private celebrations and home parties, weddings, corporate events, venues, event planners, agencies and industry partners. Every enquiry is treated as a valuable sales opportunity, regardless of the customer or event size.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Develop and grow relationships with all customers with a focus on venues, corporate clients and event agencies.
- Identify and convert new sales opportunities.
- Prepare professional quotations and event proposals.
- Create mood boards and event concepts that inspire clients.




- Produce event layouts and floor plans using industry software.
- Conduct client meetings, showroom consultations and venue site visits.
- Collaborate with our operations and warehouse teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Achieve monthly sales and relationship development targets.
- Represent Event Hire Services at industry events, networking opportunities and venue showcases.

What We’re Looking For

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in corporate events, event hire or venue industry.
- Proven ability to build long-term client relationships and generate new business.
- Experience creating professional mood boards and event concepts.
- Experience using floor plan software such as Social Tables, AllSeated, CAD, Vectorworks or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- A proactive, positive and solution-focused attitude.
- Current Australian working rights.
- Current driver’s licence preferred.
