What you will do

As Justice Officer – Property, you will manage prisoner property services.





You will provide accurate information while keeping sensitive records secure.

You will:

- manage prisoner property and property enquiries with care
- keep accurate records and prepare routine reports
- work with courts, police, lawyers and other services
- check property claims and arrange property transfers between prisons
- support prison processes for bail, discharge, transfers and court appearances.

About you

No formal qualification is required for this role. You will need strong computer skills and an understanding of correctional work.

You should also have:

- strong computer skills and confidence using computer systems
- valuable knowledge of relevant laws, policies and procedures
- an understanding of correctional work and prison processes
- clear problem-solving skills with the ability to follow set processes.
