Nexta Homes is seeking an experienced Residential Construction Site Supervisor to manage and coordinate residential construction projects across Adelaide.
Key requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential construction supervision in Australia
- Solid knowledge of residential construction processes
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Excellent trade coordination and communication skills
- Current valid Driver’s Licence.
- Strong commitment to quality, safety and project timelines
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage residential construction sites from site commencement through to practical completion .
- Coordinate and manage trades, subcontractors, suppliers and site deliveries to ensure construction progresses according to the project schedule.
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, building codes, Australian Standards and company requirements .
- Monitor quality of workmanship ,
identify defects and coordinate timely rectification.
- Conduct regular site inspections and maintain site safety, cleanliness and WHS compliance .
- Coordinate required council, private certifier and consultant inspections throughout the construction process.
- Monitor construction progress, identify potential delays and implement solutions to keep projects on schedule.
- Read and interpret architectural, structural and engineering drawings , specifications and construction details.
- Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, checklists and construction documentation .
- Communicate effectively with project managers, trades, consultants and suppliers .
- Manage variations, site issues and construction queries in consultation with the Project Manager.
- Coordinate defects, final inspections and handover to ensure projects are completed to a high standard.
